Waxsol 0.5% Ear Drops 10ml Docusate Sodium

• Tilt your head to one side and fill the dropper. Drip about 10 drops into the blocked ear, or until the canal is full. Insert a small piece of cotton wool and leave in overnight, then remove and rinse as directed. Repeat the same process the next night if needed. Do not use for more than 2 consecutive nights. Stop and get advice if you feel pain or inflammation, or if symptoms have not improved after 2 days.

• Active ingredient, docusate sodium 0.5% w/v. Other ingredients include glycerol, citric acid monohydrate, disodium phosphate dihydrate, purified water and a paraben preservative blend (phenonip). Supplied in a 10 ml bottle with dropper.

Do not use if you have a perforated eardrum or a sore ear. Parabens may cause allergic reactions, and the dropper contains latex rubber which can trigger severe allergy in sensitive people. Possible effects include ear canal inflammation, irritation, dizziness, temporary hearing changes or pain. Store below 25 °C and discard 4 weeks after opening. Use in adults, the elderly and children; ask a clinician if unsure.
