Lyclear Dermal Cream Permethrin 5% w/w 30g
Lyclear Dermal Cream contains permethrin 5% w/w and is licensed for the treatment of scabies and crab lice infestations on the body. It is a UK Pharmacy (P) medicine supplied in a 30g tube; up to one full tube is used to treat an average adult.
How to use
For scabies (adults and children over 12): massage the cream into clean, dry, cool skin over the whole body excluding the head and face, leave on for at least 8 hours (for example overnight), then wash off thoroughly. For crab lice (adults 18+): apply to the affected areas as directed in the leaflet and leave for 24 hours before washing off. Follow the patient information leaflet for children's doses, and reapply to hands if they are washed during the treatment period.
