Do I need an appointment?

Not always. You can walk in and ask. If you offer booking on your site, you can also book a slot to reduce waiting.

What happens if my reading is high?

The pharmacist will talk through your result. If follow-up is needed, you may be advised to see your GP or have further monitoring arranged.

Will my GP be informed?

Yes. If the check is part of the NHS service and follow-up is required, your results can be shared with your GP, with your consent.

Do I need to bring anything with me?

You don’t need to bring anything. If you take regular medicines, it’s helpful to mention them during the check.
