Strefen Eucalyptus & Manuka Honey Lozenges 8.75mg Flurbiprofen

• Suck one lozenge slowly and keep it moving around the mouth. Take one lozenge every 3 to 6 hours if needed. Do not take more than five lozenges in 24 hours. Use the lowest effective dose for the shortest time, for a maximum of 3 days. If symptoms do not improve, worsen, or new symptoms appear, seek advice. Not for children under 12 years. Avoid alcohol while using this medicine.

• Each lozenge contains flurbiprofen 8.75 mg. Notable excipients include isomalt and liquid maltitol. These sugar substitutes can have a mild laxative effect. Flavour components include eucalyptus and honey, with small amounts of benzyl alcohol and fragrance allergens. Packs commonly contain 16 lozenges.

Common effects include throat or mouth irritation, mouth ulcers, nausea, diarrhoea, dizziness and headache. Stop and get medical help at once if you develop signs of allergy such as wheeze, facial swelling or a severe skin rash, or if you notice black stools or vomiting blood. Do not use if you have aspirin or NSAID allergy, current or past recurrent stomach or intestinal ulcers or bleeding, severe heart, kidney or liver failure, or if you are in the last 3 months of pregnancy. Use with care and seek advice first if you have asthma, high blood pressure, heart, kidney or liver problems, a history of bowel disease, or are in the first 6 months of pregnancy or breastfeeding. Interactions can occur with anticoagulants, antiplatelets, diuretics, antihypertensives, SSRIs, lithium, methotrexate, and other NSAIDs. Do not exceed the stated dose. Do not drive if you feel dizzy or your vision is affected.
