Histahive Fexofenadine 180mg Tablets

Histahive is a non drowsy antihistamine for hives and nettle rash. Each tablet contains fexofenadine 180 mg to calm itching, redness and swelling for up to 24 hours. One tablet daily gives fast relief, usually within about an hour. For adults and children 12 years and over.

How to use
Take one 180 mg tablet once daily with water, preferably before a meal. Do not take more than one tablet in 24 hours. Do not use under 12 years. Avoid grapefruit, orange or apple juice around dosing as it can reduce absorption. Leave a gap of a couple of hours from indigestion remedies. If symptoms persist after a few days, speak to a pharmacist or doctor.

Main ingredients
Each film coated tablet contains fexofenadine hydrochloride 180 mg, equivalent to 168 mg fexofenadine. Some packs contain the colour Allura Red E129. Check the leaflet for the full excipient list.

Side effects and cautions
Headache, dizziness, drowsiness or dry mouth can occur. Stop and get advice if you develop swelling, breathing problems, a severe rash, or other allergic symptoms. Do not use if you are allergic to fexofenadine or any ingredient. Talk to a clinician before use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have kidney or liver problems, or take other medicines. Fexofenadine can interact with certain antibiotics and antifungals and with some heart medicines, so check with a pharmacist if you are on treatment. Avoid alcohol as it can add to drowsiness.
