Clotrimazole Cream 1% 20 g treats athlete‚ foot, ringworm, jock itch and fungal sweat rash. Apply thinly 2 to 3 times daily. Treatment may take 2 to 4 weeks. Always read the leaflet.
How to use
- Ensure the affected area is clean and dry before applying the cream.
- Apply a thin layer of Canesten 2% Thrush Cream onto the infected area.
- Gently rub the cream into the skin until it is fully absorbed.
- Apply the cream two to three times daily or as directed by your healthcare provider.
- Continue to use the cream even if symptoms improve, to prevent recurrence, as directed by your healthcare provider.
- Do not exceed the recommended dosage and duration of use without consulting a doctor.
- The cream is for external use only, avoid contact with eyes and mouth.
- In case of no improvement or worsening symptoms, consult your healthcare provider.

Side Effects & Cautions
Side Effects:
- Allergic reactions: Some people may develop skin irritation, burning, or redness after using Canesten Thrush Cream. If you notice severe itching, swelling or rashes, stop using the cream and seek immediate medical help.
- Interaction with other drugs: Always inform your doctor about the drugs you are currently taking to avoid any harmful drug interaction.
- Pregnancy and breastfeeding: Although Canesten Thrush Cream is generally safe to use during pregnancy and breastfeeding, always consult your doctor before beginning treatment.
- Avoid contact with eyes and mouth: Be careful not to get the cream in your eyes or mouth. If this happens, rinse with plenty of water.
- Note: This does not cover all possible side effects. Others may occur in some people and there may be some side effects not yet known. If you feel unwell or if you have concerns about a side-effect, you will need to seek advice from your doctor or pharmacist.
- Do not use Canesten 2% Thrush Cream if you are allergic to clotrimazole or any other ingredients in the cream.
- Avoid contact with eyes.
- Do not use during menstruation, operator during pregnancy or breastfeeding only after consulting your healthcare professional.
- Avoid sexual intercourse while suffering from thrush to prevent re-infection.
- If symptoms persist or worsen after 7 days of treatment, consult your doctor.
- The cream could damage latex condoms and diaphragms.
- Do not swallow, it is for external use only.
- Keep out of reach of children.
