Allevia Fexofenadine Tablets 120mg

Allevia Fexofenadine 120 mg Tablets relieve hay fever symptoms in adults and children 12 years and over. Take one tablet once daily before a meal. Starts to work within 1 hour and lasts 24 hours. Non-drowsy for most people.

How to use
Adults and children 12 years and over, take 1 tablet (120 mg) once daily with water before a meal. Swallow whole. Do not take with grapefruit, orange or apple juice. Leave 2 hours between this medicine and aluminium or magnesium antacids. Do not exceed 1 tablet in 24 hours. Not for children under 12 years. If symptoms do not improve, follow the leaflet or pharmacist advice.

Main ingredients
Each film-coated tablet contains fexofenadine hydrochloride 120 mg. Excipients, microcrystalline cellulose, pregelatinised maize starch, croscarmellose sodium, magnesium stearate, hypromellose, povidone K30, titanium dioxide (E171), colloidal anhydrous silica, macrogol 400, iron oxides (E172).

Side effects and cautions
Common side effects include headache, drowsiness, dizziness and nausea. Stop and seek help if you get signs of allergy such as swelling of the face, lips, tongue or throat, breathing difficulty, or a fast or irregular heartbeat. Do not use if you are allergic to any ingredient. Seek advice before use if you have kidney or liver problems, heart disease, or if you are elderly. Avoid fruit juices around dosing and separate from aluminium or magnesium antacids by 2 hours. If pregnant or breastfeeding, use only on a doctors advice. May cause dizziness or drowsiness, check how you react before driving or using machines.
